“coping menu”

this is an activity some therapists suggest to clients: make a “coping menu,” or, “hobby menu.”

the goal is to give yourself options for coping, grounding, or enjoyable activities for when you’re overwhelmed or just bored.

it can help build new habits and get us out of stress rsponses.

here’s some of what i’ve found online
on a weekly-ish basis to (hopefully) slow down & cope.

stay for a bite.

just something yummy.
little to no substance except laughter, joy, and reveling in absurdity.
